  2. Mickey...it looks like the universe is honoring your Mom by covering everything with a field of white.  Up here, all is stopped, cancelled, and put on hold - waiting for better days. Maybe Spring will come a little early this year?

  6. Hi again Mickey and Zen…

    Current condition report: horizontal snow with 6 foot drifts…

    Proof that there is still some goodness in the universe...for the past 4 snow storms, some unknown person has plowed my driveway.  I don’t know who has been doing that, so I can’t even say, THANK YOU. It’s a big deal up here, because some guys depend on ‘plow money’ for survival.Up here the economy is very bad. I have a feeling that it is someone, who has very little money himself. I caught a glimpse of a very old pick-up truck with a plow pulling away one day. I still have to shovel a 200 foot drainage ditch etc but this repeated, random act of kindness is a real inspiration.
