Pierce Bush?
-
The Bush Dynasty - aaarrgghh! How many more of these southern fried hell spouting killers are there in the stock room? Why oh why?
Hawk, are there any spare seats on your flying saucer home?
Posted by Chris Wood from Manchester, England on 03/21 at 06:00 AM -
There´s as many of them as we care to punt over - the Bushes used to be known as the family Percy in England until they fled after the Gunpowder Plot. They were inbred pirates then too.
Posted by Owen from Barcelona on 03/21 at 06:02 AM -
“George W. Percy” never woulda won any elections.
George Carlin weighs in on the name “Bush”, early 90’s:
As far as I’m concerned that whole thing in the Persian Gulf was nothing more than a big, prick-waving dick fight. In this particular case Saddam Hussein had questioned the size of George Bush’s dick. And George Bush has been called a wimp for so long---wimp rhymes with limp---that he has to act out his manhood fantasies by sending other people’s children to die. Even the name Bush, even the name Bush is related to the genitals without being the genitals. A bush is a sort of passive, secondary sex characteristic. Now, if this man’s name had been George Boner...well, he would have felt a little bit better about himself and we wouldn’t have had this problem in the first place.

Mornin’ Chris, Owen, Keir, and Mickey.
Mickey, thanks for letting me spend all day yesterday here. It was my way of celebrating my special day, kind of a gift to myself, so Thanks.
Right now Democracy Now is talking about one of the slaughter events. Thanks for posting photos last night.
Also, the major media, all of it that I saw, got it wrong. Last night CNN, Larry King and too many others said that yesterday marked the third anniversary of the start of the war. WRONG !!! How can everyone forget that we have been bombing Iraq since 1991. That’s important and might help to explain 9/11. Anybody have a bumper sticker that says, “Without the bombing that started in 1991, there would not have been a 9/11”.Posted by RMJ from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/21 at 08:12 AM -
Hello Chris, Owen, Keir, and RMJ. Thanks for the early comments and for making yesterday the best day here in a while.
FYI: I added some Iraq images to the original post.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/21 at 08:17 AM -
Just a clarification...one slaughter took place last Wednesday. Another similar “event” took place a few months ago, November, and is reported by Time magazine. How many go unreported?...too many atrocities to keep up with all of them! START THE WAR CRIMES TRIALS.

Good morning all!
RMJ #6: Shoulda started ‘em in 2004. That these a-holes will walk free while the oil they sent innocents to their graves to “protect” fouls the global nest to the point of no return chokes the just and the unjust is revolting.
Chris #1: What you’re not seeing is that Prescott, Bush’s little brown nephew (long story), is already in gear to succeed his daddy Jeb as Guv one day soon. Be afraid....
Owen #2: Good to know someone’s got the long view. This family has a long history of having bad ideas for government.
Keir #4: George Carlin’s absolutely right. Even if he’d been nicknamed “Boner” it would’ve been a better world. Alas....
Morning to you, MZ!

Man… we can say what we want about Clinton and Bush being all the same in the ways that count… but I’ll take Chelsea over this kid any day.
Still recovering from yesterday, but damn glad to see how full the house was. Make sure we all wipe out feet on the way in! And on the way out… off to work!

Hello James and Mudge (good luck today). Before I head out, here’s a little reminder about the Bush-Clinton Dynasty.
Posted by Mickey Z. from Astoria on 03/21 at 08:50 AM -
Thanks MZ! I’ll keep all posted.

Seeing the phrase “Bush dynasty” invokes several observations from yours truly.
First, I’m reminded that Prescott Bush, Dubya’s grandfather, helped to finance Hitler. Then I was reminded that in our last election we had a “choice” between Bush or Kerry, both brothers in the fraternal order of the Skull and Bones, the secret society founded largely in Scottish Rite freemasonry, the most (in)famous head of which was Albert Pike, who wrote that the god of freemasonry is Lucifer… and that they are distant cousins.
Just what popped into my mind when I read that phrase, for what it’s worth.

Morning Every Expendable,
I’ll chime in to agree that it’s nice to see this place busy again
Dick, Bush, Boner, Bonehead.
That’s what he said. (turd-blossom that is.)

Hey doesn’t this guy live down near Mudge?

This guy lives near you, Mudge? How much for the bullets n gas?
Posted by Chris Wood from Manchester, England on 03/21 at 10:37 AM -
I think this guy was the one waving a US flag at Saturday’s protest.
He was explaining how we’re all Saddam (only one name - like Cher or Madonna) lovers because we’re against the war. Then the police told him and his 3 friends to move off to the side and stop provoking violence. That was a welcome gesture even if it was only because there were plenty of plainclothes among the crowd.Posted by Amelopsis from Canadia on 03/21 at 11:04 AM -
Had a feeling you’d like that one. toothpastefordinner.com has lots of good ones about you crazy canadiadians. And you know I’ve heard that sales of Saddam’s latest album has been through the roof since his trial began. “Genocide was the Case That They Gave Me”, or something like that. Guest rap by Snoop Dogg and everything.

I have good news: At long last, someone has offered me a paying regular gig. Mr. Gatti’s, a pizza/pasta delivery restaurant chain, needed someone from 6-11 or midnight every day of the week, so I will now be taking pizza orders for 30hrs/week. They do not allow folks to work seven days or it’d be 35hrs/week. The call center is nearby, so I can get there using the wagon until it drops. (The county clean-air clunker replacement poeple are slooooow in spite of the 24-hr returned call policy, so a “new” cheapie car will be a while coming.)
Training on Sunday, work on Monday, and since the call center’s in the corporate offices, chances to impress people higher up exist. I’d rather not take orders forever, even as a supervisor (they take orders like the peons). The company has had some order-takers for ten years-plus, though, which says something about the work environment. And doubtless the half-price food has something to do with it, too! The personnel lady who called me for the offer (phone interviews only, the job’s phone based so they don’t feel a need to see you in the flesh unless you’re hired) told me she started out as a phone monkey and fed 5 kids while doing it.
Dream job? No, but J-O-B! At last!! And if I get “in” there, I’ll start pushing them for vegan options, promise. No, really! I will! I just won’t eat the vegan options.
Posted by Mudge from Austin on 03/21 at 12:38 PM -
MUDGE! I got so excited that I identified myself as ‘Mudge’ but saw it before I posted...I’m so glad that a job came through!
As you say, it’s no dream job, but the circumstances and the length of some of the other’s employ do make it sound promising.
I’ll work up all sorts of good mojo and store it up for Sunday night.
Congratulations !!! >>great big smile<<Posted by Amelopsis from Canadia on 03/21 at 01:49 PM -
Chris #1:
Plenty of room on the Mother Ship. All Expendables in good standing are guaranteed window seats, with the finest vegan cuisine (except for Mudge, who must order ahead) and daily workouts led by our own Mickey Z (not required, but it could be fun).
Here’s another reason to climb aboard....

Mudge #17:
Yes!
Do they make a decent pie, by the way?
Full speed “ahead”....

You the man, Mudge. Hello all…
Congrats on the job...how’s the housing situation?
Posted by JOS from Chicago on 03/21 at 02:16 PM -
Hello Expendables. Full house again...but yet again, I can’t stay. Congrats to Mudge. Great news. As for vegan pizza, I prefer Café Viva.
Be back later, I promise.

or both?
Posted by JOS from Chicago on 03/21 at 02:27 PM -
JOS...I was talking about the one that occurred last Wednesday. The other atrocity was committed in November. Thanks for the 2 links. Both are important. I wonder how many of these war crimes are hidden and no one ever hears about them. I also wonder what kind of mentality it takes to kill a 6 month old baby, execution style. This story is getting very little coverage in the media.
Mudge...extra hugs to you today. With your talent, you should own the company by the end of the week...except for the fact that under Capitalism, talent doesn’t count.
Posted by RMJ from Churchill 4 Prez Hdqts on 03/21 at 02:50 PM -
Thank you all! Thank you! I will autograph photos from 1-3 Saturday.
RMJ #24: Who on earth wants to own a pizza company, anyway...I’ll settle for surviving on their leavings.
MZ #22: Something I say as agoof, it really exists...who’d’a thunk?
JOS #21: Same ol’ same ol’ on the house. Still need a new place. One at a time....
Hawk #20: Thanks! Decent pie? I have a confession...I only like thin-crust white pies with extra ricotta and lots of garlic, and no one in town does that.
#19: I’d like a full-meat menu, please: Four eggs and four sausages for breakfast; a pound of hamburger with chees, bacon, and extra mayo for lunch; and veal Oscar for dinner.
Empress #18: Thank you! Thank you! Mojo gratefully accepted. A meager start for the NUtI Imperium, huh? But job means wages means goods and services presently unavailable. Whew.

here’s an article that might get some appreciation here...here’s a soldier who came back from 3 years in Afghanistan and Iraq disliking fried food and meat, stopped watching TV, refused to run as a democrat for office, and says most American’s have a stereotypical view of Muslims:

James that certainly is both funny and desperately NOT funny. Unless you happen to know where to find a microscopic black hole, of course.
Tim - hello, welcome, and thanks for the article. I’m not sure if you’re new, or I’m too new to remember you here, but it’s “very” nice to see a vegan chocolate cake recipe anytime.
Posted by Amelopsis from Canadia on 03/21 at 04:04 PM -
The amount of thought this man has put into all this is astounding: http://qntm.org/why
“Just not much of a people person? Job done.”
However, hope yet: “Personally I believe that the arguments against geocide, though limited in scope, are convincing. I don’t want Earth destroyed anytime soon - I’m just having too much fun with it still existing. Still, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. What’s yours, and how did you arrive at it? Email me”

Hey gang. I’m even gonna pretend that I’ve clicked on any of the links you’ve provided. However, I do want to say that in the midst of all my running around, it’s great to know you’re all here hanging out.
See ya later…
P.S. Welcome, Tim.

Captcha ‘science’: we all know what Bush, his dynasty and his administration think of THAT!And hello to all my fellow MZ’ers/expendables. It is getting warmer in Daylesford, Australia: 80F today, and up to 86F tomorrow and Friday. Fall started on 1 March down under ..

Thanks Amelopsis and Mickey. Yeah, I’m new here if you consider posting comments as arriving. But I’ve been reading for a bit. It’s great to find other vegans/radical lefties out here in cyberspace or anywhere else for that matter.
I am always firing off emails, petitions, and articles to friends and activists like a maniac so I think I just kind of automatically posted the one above.
Cheers all.Posted by Tim from on 03/22 at 03:15 AM -
