Those crafty capitalists have a solution for everything
-
Hillary certainly takes “looking on the bright side” seriously!
Perhaps we could all pitch in to get Hillary relocated to Bangladesh?
Laterally thinking (as well as trying not to damage the ecosystem we rely on) is it possible to deliberately flood areas to reduce the sea levels? Create lakes in Australia or the Himalayas? Have I been in the sun too long today?

Went outside at 4:45 am this morning and ‘felt’ the bay. I needed to see the bay this very quiet, still morning.
The sun was just coming over the trees. We went to a place called ‘Lookout Point’, a short distance down the road.
We sat there enjoying the calmness of everything. Not a sound. Many birds feeding. A male Bald Eagle flew overhead and landed in a tree.
A morning of freedom from insanity and human noise. This is the real world, being peacefully amidst other members of the natural world, without the crimes called progress. Unfortunately not to last very long.

Thanks for that, Joe. Bringing Rick’s comment into it, I genuinely wonder if someone like Hillary is still capable of enjoying the moment Joe describes.
I don’t mean that facetiously. I’m serious. In fact, if she is still capable of appreciating the experience Joe details, then her actions are even greater crimes.

Joe...You are a wonderful poet!
Hi Mickey, Rick, and all…
Way off topic...today might be Richard Scarey’s birthday. Every 2 year-old I have ever known picked his books as their favorites. The detail in his art work fascinates me. I believe that 2 year-olds are the most intelligent group in the population. Their minds are open and they have not yet been overly contaminated by the culture. One of the most precious moments in my life was walking on a Maine beach with a 2 year-old.

...almost off-topic, but saved by the Bangladesh axis…
Interesting interview with Arundhati Roy in the Guardian
I particularly like this part:
Guerrillas use violence, generally directed against the police and army, but sometimes causing injury and death to civilians caught in the crossfire. Does she condemn that violence? "I don’t condemn it any more,” she says. “If you’re an adivasi [tribal Indian] living in a forest village and 800 CRP [Central Reserve Police] come and surround your village and start burning it, what are you supposed to do? Are you supposed to go on hunger strike? Can the hungry go on a hunger strike? Non-violence is a piece of theatre. You need an audience. What can you do when you have no audience? People have the right to resist annihilation."
