    Nice to see the photo of James and friends…

    Mickey, good article. That says it all. I am especially happy to read it this weekend. Just read how the government is giving another 2.5 million to a local company that has Pentagon contracts. Also this is the week-end when the area has one of its annual celebrations of war. Lots of beer drinking and drunk driving.  This is Battle Day week-end. Big parade!
    I stopped attending about 5 years ago when I saw small children riding on military tanks as part of the parade.

    Hey, the local library has banned my book, but I just got word that a group at the library in the town to the north has put BANNED IN VERMONT on their recommended reading list.

  3. Hello RMJ and Mickey. Excellent commentary Mickey. I emailed it to someone who thinks the answers to all the problems are to start over and do all the things that brought about the destruction of every damn thing on this planet..., now that’s ‘visionary’!

    RMJ...I’m sure the local providers of knowledge would like to come after you with pitchforks and torches. As individuals, americans are one cell of the larger cancer with a PH in the high acid zone.

    Like the atmosphere, the social temperature seems to be rising. Whether Americuns can break out of obedience long enough to gather some sanity is another question.

    Joe...Are you hearing anything about Smart Meters in Maine?  Looks like they will be imposed on us here. I’m campaigning for an OPT-OUT option.  I will not succeed.

  7. RMJ...yes...the smart meter crap has created a stir up here in Maine.

    We opted out...however, because the public utility commission didn’t want to verify safety issues, they excused themselves and stated central maine power must allow an opt-out, which is not free and now their is a public complaint about the extortion fee for customers not wanting smart meters.

    I think Vermont’s smart meter program is under the same company that is the parent company of central maine power. The parent company is in Spain and they have plans to control most of New England’s electric generating which will include future wind turbine projects. Iberdrola is the parent and many other companies have their hands in this as well including GE, IBM.

    In short, it’s all more bullshit and it’s being pawned off to appeal to people inclined toward computer games and I think they might have a surprise in the future which might cost even more money. Much has been written about the harmful radio frequency effects. Utility companies are ignoring this since the feds are mandating this and giving utility companies big bucks. In the case of cpm, their spokesperson is a jackass who couldn’t manipulate a 4 year old child and his public remarks simply verify how clueless, how stupid they are and this entire project is about extortion and control. Some idiots who defend authorities tired comparing the rf pollution from smart meters with am radio signals.

  8. Joe...Great info there. Thanks. How did you opt-out??? Sounds like your PUC is a bit more democratic than here.So far, I am the only one in VT hoping to opt-out. There is no public discussion going on. The info on web sites is very informative. Apparently many across the country are aware of this, but not here in the dead zone.
    Mickey might be interested in the possible threat to wild life and other animals. 
    The more I think about this the more outrageous it seems. Reminds me of when industry wanted to get rid of toxic waste so the government convinced people that putting it in drinking water was a good idea. That’s how we got fluoride (and an increase in bone cancer) !

  9. October Surprise (Not) Dept: RMJ, whatever limits there are on the D.C. demo are self-imposed. BART was able to crush a featurette demo by shutting off the wireless, so I’m guessing the power structure isn’t in immediate danger.

    Lighting a candle for James...under a car’s gas tank. (JK! I only nailed it to the windshield.)

  10. RMJ..., central maine power sent a questionnaire giving the choice to opt out or select the smart meter.

    With this the initial extortion fee is $40 plus. I think the puc allowed this extortion fee to discourage people from opting out. The town of Bath, Maine has a 180 day ban on smart meters thus far. central maine power has threatened to sue bath over this. Isn’t this bullshit or what?

    This smart meter issue is all over the country. I think at least 30 towns in California have banned smart meters and other areas of the country are raising hell about this.

    Soon, it will be law to buy everything to guarantee profits for the bestial degenerates.

  11. RMJ...Just this morning I read another newspaper article about smart meters. The maine public utility commission and central maine power simply refuse to look at safety concerns and only at profits.

    Central Maine Power is no longer even doing billing in Maine. It’s being done by a company in New Jersey. And all the while we must listen to stupid people cry about jobs in Maine.

    While some people have a few reasonable ideas for change, they are ignoring the psychological changes necessary so as not to repeat the same insanity that will simply be under a different title, a different package of words. jesus h. christ, america is all but biologically dead and that might arrive soon.

    Thanks, Joe. Your information is a big help. There has been no public discussion here. They are pulling a fast one in VT by calling it “smart grid” and “smart power” - a strategic bit of misinformation that led the people to believe that it really would not have a big impact on them. These guys are experts at deception. We are drowning in a sea of propaganda.

  13. RMJ...the predators are always communicating about dirty deeds for profits. The public doesn’t communicate at all, then it’s too late and still there is little discussion.

    It’s like birds sitting on a fence waiting to be shot at, none of the birds are talking about potential consequences.

    I think Mainer’s for the most part have lost their vocal chords, except to cheer for the patriots or the red, white and blue sox...christ it’s pitiful, I could scream!
