Summer Re-Run: Why are you so negative?

Posted by Mickey Z on 07/08 at 05:14 AM
  1. Good mornin’ all…
Great front page. I like Mickey’s article. Thanks. I don’t know how I missed that one till today.

Thanks for making me smile, Michael… one precious smile in a world that has earned negativity.  Smiles are increasingly hard to come by these days.

  2. Why am I so negative? ‘Cause I still own my brain. Because it rains on your daydream. So when the Arctic methane volcano cooks your marketing campaign, you’ll have a prior frame of reference.

I’m reading Deep Green Resistance by Aric McBay, Lierre Keith, and Derrick Jensen. Forget ‘negativity,’ try fifty-alarm emergency.

  3. Hello everyone. What a beautiful green photo with the urban farmer.

Oh christ, I wasn’t negative and I’ve been reminded recently how negative I can be. You see, this has been going on for about 60 years.

I don’t mind complaining about oranges not being purple, or can’t smoke in a hospital ICU.

So..., how’s the war? I’ve been concerned with the war in my brain that’s been ongoing before the inventions of bombers and battleships, horseshoes and pill bottles, cocktail sauce and double auger juicers, cufflinks and battle-axes..., see what I mean.

Negativity can be good for we must not accept anything anyone says until we personally verify it. I will then denounce it for I am ‘The Eraser’ of all that’s known to destroy life.

Please pass me the colostomy bag. People are afraid of negativity. I think it reminds them their world sucks more than they might have ever imagined and this thought really stirs up the innards, interrupts their lifetime attempt to escape all things. That might be one reason why laxatives were invented.
