Summer Re-Run: "Meet Keith McHenry"

Posted by Mickey Z on 08/26 at 04:28 AM
  1. Hello Mickey...I’ve been fuming over 4 days of the navy blue asshole flying brigade. Terrifying noise levels, jet fuel fumes, scaring animals. And these yahoos who would make great cast members for movies like deliverance, love this shit and making all kinds of statements while fantasizing approval by any authorities.

Some people including myself have written letters of disapproval of this insanity have been countered by people criticizing us for not liking the “sound of freedom”. It’s that pathetic!

  2. We got it all wrong, Joe. We were handed a gift and fucked it up...completely.

  3. Yes Mickey, a gift from the universe, torn, bombed, laughed at, billed as entertainment, the slaughter, the blood called liberation, the theft, the oppression, the psycho-lies called the american way of life.

Americans wanting the approval of the authorities, felt as closest to an expression of love they will ever receive. Few will notice between glances at their cell phone. Perhaps cell phones should have mirrors on them.

  4. Hi Joe and Mickey…

How’s it going where you are?  As of noon yesterday there were no D batteries, inexpensive radios, flashlights gallon jugs of water, etc here.  I bought the last cheap radio in town. Maybe a mistake, it doesn’t work very well.
Today will be a busy one for me. I have a lot of lumber, boards, etc in the yard because of a repair project that is not quite completed. I will have to move all that stuff so it doesn’t get airborne.  Also I will have to make the drainage ditch a bit deeper. Someone once told me that if survival is this hard, maybe its not worth it.  On the bright side, with this storm there’s no chance of the pipes freezing.

  5. Keep your heads down on the East Coast.
I’m sad that Irene hit Haiti, they really do need to be cut some slack. People living in tents, being evicted from the Church grounds they’ve been living on...a hurricane is kicking them when they’re down.

Ooo, I saw Pepe Escobar (Asia Times, TRNN etc) interviewed on “Russia Today”. He says..guess who the current military leader in Tripoli is?
The Russian news presenter guesses American.

    WRONG.

    Abdelhakim Belhadj.
Al Qaeda asset, formerly tortured in a secret “rendition” prison in Thailand. Led a military offensive on Tripoli and is now in command of the Capital City.

  6. I think there’s a new black market in NYC for flashlights and D batteries.

  7. joe with the quote of the day: “navy blue asshole flying brigade.” (I understand John Cleese ran that by the troupe, but they went in a different direction.)

MZ with the other quote of the day: “We were handed a gift and fucked it up.” On the Eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains there are some stunning landscapes that beg the question “What psycho would put a lead smelter here?” Back in the beginning, it had to start that way.

Grin And Bear It Dept: I’d not seen the gruesome story about the heroic moon bear, MZ. This one was also a shocker: http://tinyurl.com/3hehzvp There are many different angles (technology stealing dignity, similar last words from whales/bison/passenger pigeons, nature strikes back), but as the ecosystem unwinds, h. sapiens will confront this category of horror every day.

  8. Wow...thanks, Zen.

Well, I survived the hurricane and a new post is now up and running.

  9. iPhone and iPad devices, users continue to voice their objection with this fact, as most websites have some flash components. The ability to break down the necessity for a PC would lie in the addition of this capability.iPhone 5 release date
